    Provides short-term, back-up care for unexpected child or elder care needs, and an online provider directory for on-going family care solutions.

  • Calm App

    The Calm app provides tools to help you relax, focus, and rest, offering guided sessions on sleep, meditation, and relaxation. Sign up for a free, premium subscription using your netID email.

  • Care and Concern Resources

    Find resources for managers, faculty and staff dealing with stressful or difficult life situations, such as the death of an employee.

  • Caregivers Support Group (Faculty)

    Any faculty currently caring for an aging parent, spouse, or child with special needs are welcome to attend.

  • Emotional Well-Being at the Notre Dame Wellness Center

    Our onsite wellness center offers emotional well-being services, including clinical psychologist, licensed clinical social worker and wellness coaches, for benefit-eligible faculty, staff and their eligible dependents.

  • Family and Medical Leave

    Entitles eligible faculty and staff to take job protected leave for medical reasons.

  • Funeral

    Provides pay for the purposes of attention to arrangements and travel of funeral services for family member’s death.

  • Grief Support Group (Staff)

    If you are a staff member who has experienced the death of a loved one - a child, a spouse, a parent, a close friend, or a colleague - you are invited to join a support group of other staff who have experienced the loss of a loved one.

  • Grotto Network

    Grotto Network shares stories of lives lived boldly that transform the world and renew hope in Someone greater than ourselves.

  • Holidays

    Provides paid holiday time for eligible employees in observance of University recognized holidays.

  • Hybrid Work Pilot Program

    The Hybrid Work Program (HWP) is a pilot where staff deemed eligible by their division will have an opportunity to work remotely for up to 16 hours each week over two days.

  • McDonald Center for Student Well-Being

    While primarily intended for student use, the McDonald Center for Student Well-Being has excellent resources for your overall emotional well-being.

  • Staff Parental Leave

    Provides pay time to eligible mothers and fathers for birth or adoption of a child.

  • St. Liam’s Inner Resource Room

    A tranquil environment where Notre Dame students, faculty, and staff can participate in a variety of self-guided relaxation, stress management, and performance-enhancing activities.

    Provides vacation pay in lieu of regular pay for opportunities for rest and personal convenience.
