We often speak of the University as being a force for good in the world. Today, we share news that we trust will be a force for good in your world.
We are thrilled to announce the third and culminating phase of comprehensive enhancements to your compensation:
- Award a special 3% increase to all eligible faculty and staff.
- Increase the starting wage for new hourly employees to $17.50.
- Increase hourly pay to more than $17.50 for current hourly employees who joined Notre Dame before January 1, 2022, in recognition of your loyalty and to ensure fairness with the new starting wage. Where appropriate, we will put in place similar fairness-based pay increases for eligible exempt employees, beyond the 3% increase referenced above.
- Increase the starting wage for student employees to $15.
Eligibility
Eligible employee categories are:
- Full-time, benefits eligible staff
- Part-time staff
- Regular faculty (as defined by the Academic Articles)
- Undergraduate and graduate hourly student workers
Temporary/on-call employees are not eligible for this increase.
