Notre Dame is committed to maintaining a safe environment for all members of the University community. Youth visiting University facilities or participating in University programs and activities require particular attention in order to protect their safety and well-being.
The Office of Institutional Equity has worked collaboratively with campus partners to create a robust policy and supporting procedures to ensure appropriate safety and security measures.
To promote the safety and well-being of minors who participate in University programs, events, and activities, all youth programs must register with OIE through a streamlined portal, accessible via SSO. Clarification and training on the new policy and procedures should be requested to OIE.
If you have minors participating in a program:

Review the Youth Protection Policy and Youth Protection Procedures Manual and ensure the youth program is prepared to comply with the applicable operational requirements;

Register the program with the Office of Institutional Equity;

Ensure all youth program personnel have met all the requirements in order to participate in the program, including passing screenings and training
