At Notre Dame, we promote a spirit of diversity and inclusion through academic inquiry, programs, and opportunities that reflect our foundational belief in the dignity of all people. To promote a culture where we advocate across groups and work as allies in a way that acknowledges our intersectional identities, we have created the first-ever Ally Week.
Ally Week will take place from Monday, Nov. 8 to Friday, Nov. 12, and will consist of events sponsored by many of our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs). Our ERGs support networking and community-building among staff and faculty members and assist the University with recruitment, retention, and educational activities.
The events taking place during Ally Week will give you the opportunity to engage with stories of advocacy and allyship, and connect with others across campus to strengthen our community and culture. Learn more about Ally Week’s events below!
