Creating A Community Of Respect

Our University is committed to promoting a work environment that is welcoming, inclusive, and respectful for all. As a community, Notre Dame strives to reflect these values in life on campus and the natural extensions of our purpose beyond campus. To support and reinforce this mission we have created a new training program addressing Sexual and Discriminatory Harassment. This training program is called "Creating a Community of Respect."

In order to familiarize all members of the community with Sexual and Discriminatory Harassment policies and procedures, our goal is to have all faculty and staff complete this training by October 13. The training will take approximately 45 minutes to complete.

The program covers:

  • The University’s policy against Sexual and Discriminatory Harassment;
  • How to prevent, identify, and respond to Sexual and Discriminatory Harassment on behalf of both yourself and others; and
  • How to rely on Notre Dame’s processes and procedures when addressing Sexual and Discriminatory Harassment.

If you have questions regarding the training or concerns with your work environment, please contact the Office of Institutional Equity at equity@nd.edu or 574-631-0444.
