NEW The Art of Active Listening

In today’s busy work environment, multitasking, interruptions, and misinterpretations can be a challenge to being an active listener. Good listening is a behavior we can learn and is a critical component for earning people’s trust and respect. In this workshop, you will learn the secret to becoming a more active listener and practical strategies that can immediately increase your listening abilities. Better communication and listening leads to improving your bottom line, enhancing relationships, leading/empowering others, building teams, gaining and retaining customers, managing change, and reducing stress.

Get The Stress Outta Here!

Stress is a very common barrier in the workplace. From the high percentage of employees (66%) reportedly having difficulty focusing on work tasks because of stress, to the health effects that drive our stressed employees and co-workers to the doctor, stress in the workplace is costing us all. Participants will identify ways stress affects us, explore relaxation techniques, and develop a personal stress management plan.

Capitalizing on Your Work & Relationships with the Predictive Index

Wouldn’t it be nice if we could identify exactly what drives and motivates us in the workplace? And how effective would it be if our colleagues & managers could know this as well? The Predictive Index (PI) is the perfect tool for this! This behavioral assessment assists in making your work, and working relationships, more strategic & effective. Participants will review their results, and how to put them into action during the interactive & reflective session. Registration will close Fri., Nov. 6 at Noon for the November session, and Fri., Dec. 11 at Noon for the December session to ensure assessments are distributed to participants and completed in time for the workshop.

Falling In “Like” With Change

Retired Chief of Staff, General Eric Shinseki, stated, “If you don’t like change, you’re going to like irrelevance even less.” Most of us don’t like change, but the reality is that change is constant, and it can be stressful. But it doesn’t have to be. Participants will identify the stages of change, explore stress reduction techniques & ways to handle change and continue to be productive.
