Dr. Schonwald is a national leader in the field of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics. She led the preeminent Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics fellowship training program for several years during her 23 years at Boston Children's Hospital. Her areas of clinical specialty include early diagnosis of autism and other developmental disorders. Dr. Schonwald served 6 years on the AAP planning committee for its board review course, has been Course Director at Harvard Medical School’s Human Development Course, and served as Fellowship Director in Developmental Pediatrics for several years.
