The Be Well Series is a monthly health and wellness education series for benefit-eligible faculty and staff and their spouses. From high blood pressure to skin cancer to home safety, these quick on-campus programs are designed to help you lead a happier, healthier life.

November 2014: Great American Smokeout

Smoking and Your Health | Thursday, November 6
Getting ready to quit smoking is exciting and frightening. You know why you should quit and know it’s the right decision… but are you worried about what lies ahead? Come to this session and learn more about the support that is available to help you quit smoking.

Medication Options | Thursday, November 13
Quitting smoking? Smoking-cessation medications, including nicotine replacement therapy and non-nicotine medications, can help.

Great American SmokeOut | Thursday, November 20
The American Cancer Society marks the Great American Smokeout on the third Thursday of November each year by encouraging smokers to use the date to make a plan to quit, or to plan in advance and quit smoking that day. Learn more about the Great American SmokeOut, the day when smokers nationwide will start together to stop together.
