  • 403(b) Retirement Plan

    University of Notre Dame retirement plan. All employees have the opportunity to make voluntary contributions. After a year of service, employees make a defined regular salary contribution of 5% and the University contributes 10%.

  • Accident Insurance

    Provides a lump-sum payment if you experience illness or injury as a result of an accident.

  • Adoption Benefit

    Provides reimbursement for adoption expenses to full-time faculty, staff after one year of service.

  • Critical Illness Insurance

    Provides a lump-sum payment if you experience a covered critical illness.

  • Educational Benefits

    The University offers tuition reimbursement, tuition remission and scholarship programs to help faculty, staff, retirees, spouses and dependents meet their personal and professional goals.

  • Hospital Indemnity Insurance

    Hospital indemnity insurance provides supplemental benefits paid directly to the faculty or staff member to help pay for expenses that result from a hospital stay.

  • Pension Plan

    Closed to new entrants effective December 31, 2017. Active non-exempt participants prior to 12/31/2017 continue to earn credited service.

  • Public Service Loan Forgiveness

    As a not-for-profit organization that is tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, the University of Notre Dame is a qualifying employer for this program.
