askHR Appointment Scheduler to be discontinued effective August 27

Due to unanticipated changes from the service provider, the HR Appointment Scheduler will be discontinued at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 27. At that time, the Scheduler will become inactive.

The Scheduler will remain available for appointments through the close of the business day on Wednesday, August 27. Appointments entered prior to that time will be saved. Read full article

Opening Mass and Picnic: Tuesday, August 26

UPDATE Tuesday 11:45 a.m.: due to weather concerns, the location of the picnic has been changed to North and South Dining Halls, immediately following Mass.

This traditional gathering is an opportunity for students, faculty, staff and their families to formally usher in the year and to welcome new members of our community to campus.

Mass will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the Joyce Center’s Purcell Pavilion, with a procession of faculty and student leaders beginning from the North Dome at 5:20 p.m.

Enjoy a picnic, family fun, and music immediately after Mass at both the North and South Dining Halls. Dinner will be served until 8:15 p.m. Read full article

Free High School Equivalency Diploma classes for staff

Formerly the GED program, this preparation program will help employees obtain the skills and knowledge needed to complete the High School Equivalency Diploma examination. All courses are taught on Notre Dame’s campus by South Bend Community School Corporation instructors. Read full article
