The University of Notre Dame Dual Career Assistance Program offers customized job search assistance to qualified couples who face the dual career challenge.


We serve the spouse or partner of a new permanent full-time faculty or staff member placed following a regional/national search who is or will become unemployed due to their relocation.


More than just resume and CV review, the Dual Career Assistance Program offers customized coaching and networking assistance from a certified career management coach.

South Bend Area Cost of Living Among Lowest in the Nation

According to a report from niche.com, three cities in Indiana ranked in the top three when it comes to American cities with the lowest cost of living. Fort Wayne was ranked #1 in the country, Evansville was second with South Bend named third. Indianapolis also made the list, coming in at #18. The site based the rankings on factors including consumer price index and access to affordable housing, using data from the U.S. Census and the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
