Employee State Tax Withholding Considerations
During COVID-19, employees who work remotely outside their primary state of residence (i.e., the state where taxes are normally withheld from their pay) may have created an additional state tax issue for themselves. Those who work even somewhat regularly from a location in another state are advised to consult a tax advisor to discuss the possible state tax impacts of their specific situation.
