Eddy Street Commons
Stroll down the sidewalks of Eddy Street Commons, located across the street from the campus of Notre Dame, and take in the beautiful architecture and exciting mixture of shopping, dining and living in a uniquely designed urban style community with a main street appeal. From fashions to books and eateries, to bars and apartments, Eddy Street Commons offers a variety of new venues within walking distance of the University of Notre Dame campus.
Innovation Park builds commercialization bridges between the University of Notre Dame and businesses at all stages of development, from start-ups through established regional firms and Fortune 500 companies.
Indiana University Medical School-South Bend
Indiana University School of Medicine – South Bend’s program is a complete four-year medical education training site. In a small class atmosphere of only 24 students in both the first and second years, students experience the ambiance of a nationally recognized university and the availability of one of the largest concentrations of practicing physicians in the state of Indiana.
South Bend Center for the Homeless
The Center for the Homeless is not a homeless shelter. While they have provided more than 700,000 safe nights and over 1.5 million meals to more than 44,000 men, women and children since their opening in December 1988, their focus is on providing not just life-saving, but life-changing services to each of their guests.
Robinson Learning Center
The Robinson Learning Center welcomes community and Notre Dame partners that strengthen the Northeast Neighborhood of South Bend through relationship-building and educational opportunities.
Center for Social Concerns
The CSC is the service and community-based learning center of the University of Notre Dame. They provide educational experiences in social concerns inspired by Gospel values and Catholic social tradition.
QuarkNet is an educational program sponsored by the National Science Foundation (NSF) and the Department of Energy (DOE) whose aim is to support science education in schools by establishing a nationwide network of science teachers.
DeBartolo Center for the Performing Arts
The DeBartolo Performing Arts Center is an inclusive, second-city destination for the region’s premier Visiting Artist Series—art with a point of view—informed by reflection on our Catholic character and inspired by the academy’s pursuit of knowledge.
The Old2Gold program is the University of Notre Dame’s annual end-of-year yard sale of items donated by students. One hundred percent of proceeds go to local charities who assist with the sale’s operation.
