How do I activate my NetID and email account if I'm new to the University but I haven't started work yet?
Faculty: The day after the provost receives and processes your signed contracts your NetID and email account is activated. Visit the OIT's password web site to set your password.
Staff: Your NetID and email accounts are activated the day after your position is set up in the HR database. To set up your position it is required that all paperwork be submitted to human resources. Contact the Office of Human Resources for assistance.
