Does my supervisor have the right to tell me when I can take vacation/breaks/ etc.?
The University, through its managers and supervisors, reserves the right to determine work schedules and appropriate release for pre-arranged time off such as breaks, vacations, personal days, leaves of absences, etc. Supervisors are encouraged to be open to employee requests and grant them when reasonably able to do so based on operational needs.
