What are the appropriate steps to take when there is an injury on the job?
Employees should report all injuries immediately to a supervisor who will assess and take appropriate action. Emergencies should be reported immediately by dialing 911 for assistance. Employees with less than life threatening injuries should be referred to University Health Services for treatment. Follow up reports are filed by the supervisor with the Risk Management and Safety Department.
