How do I begin the recruitment process?

The Office of Human Resources coordinates recruitment of applicants on a campus-wide and/or external basis once a department submits a Position Management Form (PMF). For additional information regarding guidelines for completing PMF Form, see Position Management Form Directions.

To allow time for discussion of recruiting strategy and preparation of a job posting, the Position Management Form (PMF) should be submitted along with the current Position Description to Human Resources/Employment three working days before the anticipated posting date. It is the policy of the University of Notre Dame that all vacancies be posted so that current qualified and interested employees may be considered.
