How do I attract candidates for my open position?

All staff positions are posted on Jobs@ND Employment Site.
Both internal and external applicants apply through the on-line application system.
2. External Advertising
Hiring managers are encouraged to discuss the recruitment strategy with their Recruiting Consultant. To expand and diversify the candidate pool, it may be necessary to advertise beyond the Jobs@ND Employment Site. Various advertising resources exist to identify qualified candidates. Print ads, internet postings, trade journals, associations, and listservs are useful tools in publicizing professional job vacancies. In addition, discounted rates for various posting packages have been purchased by Human Resources.
All advertising copy for authorized staff position openings
must be approved by
Human Resources to ensure consistency and compliance with
University
policy, applicable federal, state and local regulations.
