403(b) contribution limits have increased

Published: January 08, 2015

Good news for faculty and staff who want to make maximum contributions to the University’s 403(b) Retirement Plan: the IRS has increased the contribution limits for the 2015 calendar year.

In 2015, eligible participants may voluntarily contribute up to $18,000 to the plan. Participants age 50 or older by the end of 2015 may make an additional “catch-up” contribution of $6,000.

Effective January 2, 2015, participants may change (or begin) their voluntary contribution amounts online at netbenefits.com/nd.
