Elections and change requests must be made online beginning May 1.
Two new self-service applications, now available on insideND, provide the convenience of making or changing direct deposit and tax withholding elections online 24 hours a day. The online applications increase sustainability and improve the security of personal information by eliminating the use of paper forms.
Beginning May 1, new hires (or employees who desire to make changes) must make any new tax withholding or direct deposit elections online. Paper forms will be accepted through April; forms received May 1 or later will be returned to employees for entry online.
The new applications are available on the “My Resources” tab of insideND in the “My Quick Apps” Channel.
Tax Withholding Elections
The new Tax Withholding Elections app permits all faculty and staff, including new hires and temporary employees, to enter (or update) exemption allowances for both federal and state/county* tax withholdings.
*Online entry of state/county withholding is available to residents of Indiana and Michigan. University employees who both reside and work outside of Indiana or Michigan should contact Payroll Services at 574-631-7575 prior to submitting their state/county withholding elections.
The new Direct Deposits app permits all faculty and staff, including new hires and temporary employees, to enter (or update) bank information for the automatic deposit of paychecks.
Current employees who are satisfied with their existing elections do not need to take any action at this time. Future changes, if desired, must be made online after May 1.
New self-service kiosks
To assist employees with online forms, three new computer kiosks have been installed. The kiosks, for employee use only, are located in the 2nd floor lobby of Grace Hall outside the Office of Human Resources.
Kiosk hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00am – 6:00pm.
A Notre Dame NetID and password are required to access the computer kiosks.
