How it works…
Need to Provide Proof of Employment or Income?
Give the bank or organization needing proof of your employment or income the following information:
- Notre Dame Employer Code – 14219
- Your Social Security Number (Typically provided on the bank or organization application)
- Your Salary Key (Needed when income verification is required. See below for details*.)
- The Work Number access options: www.theworknumber.com or 1-800-367-5690. Social Service Agencies call 1-800-660-3399 or use www.theworknumber.com.
Salary Key*
What is a Salary Key? A Salary Key is a six-digit number that allows one-time access to your salary information.
Important Please Note: A NEW Salary Key is needed each time you provide verification of your income.
How do I create a Salary Key?
1. Access The Work Number through insideND – My Resources – Human Resources channel or by telephone at 1-800-367-2884
2. Select the “Employee” option and login using:
- Your NDID – What’s my ndID?!
- Your PIN – What’s my PIN?!
3. Select “Create a Salary Key”. Be prepared to write down the six-digit number.
Note: The first time you login you will be asked to setup security and contact information.
