Policy
The University recognizes the value of charitable organizations and encourages employees to be active participants in organizations that support or contribute to the mission of the University.
Notre Dame actively supports fund raising campaigns annually for the United Way and the Third World Relief fund. Beyond these campaigns, the University does not permit on-campus solicitations, canvassing, or distribution of materials of any kind and in any form, whether printed copy, electronic, digital or other. This includes, but is not limited to: pools, collections, political campaigning, gambling, passing out of handbills, or distribution of chain letters by employees or non-employees.
