Compuer Software Testing (QWIZ)
The Office of Human Resources offers an assessment tool for use by interested Notre Dame employees, prospective employees, and hiring managers. QWIZ is used to evaluate computer skills and is designed to help hiring managers assess final candidates and hire the appropriate individual as well as help current employees plan for future professional development needs.
Test results are generated upon completion of each testing module and are communicated to hiring managers or directly to the employee, whichever applies. Testing can be customized according to department or individual needs based on the following modules that are offered:
- MS Office Suite 95, 97, 2000
- MS Word
- MS Excel
- MS PowerPoint
- MS Access
- MS Outlook
- Windows 95, 98, 2000 Operating Systems
- Lotus 97
- WordPerfect 7.0, 8.0, 9.0
- Word Pro 9.0
- Data Entry
- Typing
- Letter Composition/Editing
- Audio Transcription
- Shorthand/Speedwriting
- Ten-Key
