As you are in the process of searching for your new career in our community, it is critical that you begin to assimilate into the community and develop new relationships and additions to your resumé. Volunteering, whether it is a day a week or a few hours per month, the amount of time that you devote to volunteering is up to you but the results can be advantageous to your career search.

English as a Second Language for International Spouses
The University is home to many International students, families, faculty and staff. A benefit of being part of the ND community is an opportunity to improve your English skills. Experienced instructors teach conversational English, English grammar, English literature and American culture

Similar to volunteering we cannot stress enough the importance of networking and how it can positively affect your job search and possibly reduce significantly the length of time your job search takes.
