To incorporate Values, Vision, and Mission into the process requires supervisors and employees to be aware of them and how the employees’ role aligns with them. The university values have been incorporated into the performance management process. A Behavioral Competency Model has been developed as a tool to aid supervisors and employees identify behavioral expectations. These are the foundation of and guideposts for employee performance.
